Circular Duct Damper

Circular Duct Damper
The Circular Duct Damper is an industrial airflow and gas control device designed for round duct systems. It is mainly used to regulate, shut off, or isolate airflow and industrial gases in ventilation, exhaust, dust collection, and process air systems.
The damper uses an adjustable blade or disc structure to control the flow through the circular duct. By changing the opening position, the effective flow area can be adjusted to control the volume of air or gas passing through the pipeline. When fully closed, the damper can isolate the duct section, making it suitable for equipment shutdown, maintenance, and process control.
The compact circular design allows the damper to be easily installed in round ductwork while maintaining a practical and reliable flow-control structure. Different sizes, materials, sealing configurations, and operating mechanisms can be selected according to the duct diameter and working conditions.
Key Features
Designed for circular duct systems
Suitable for airflow and industrial gas regulation
Supports flow adjustment, shut-off, and duct isolation
Compact structure for convenient installation
Smooth and flexible blade operation
Available in different diameters and configurations
Suitable for manual or automatic operation
Optional electric or pneumatic actuation
Different materials and sealing options available
Suitable for ventilation and various industrial process systems
Applications
Circular Duct Dampers are widely used in industrial ventilation, exhaust systems, dust collection equipment, air handling systems, flue gas systems, industrial furnaces, boilers, thermal processing equipment, and other applications involving circular air or gas ducts.
They can be installed at duct inlets, outlets, branches, equipment connections, and other locations where airflow needs to be adjusted or isolated. The damper helps operators control the distribution and direction of airflow throughout the system.
Operating Principle
The damper regulates airflow by adjusting the position of its internal blade or disc. When the blade is opened, air or gas can pass through the duct. As the blade gradually closes, the available flow area decreases and the flow rate is reduced. When fully closed, the damper provides a flow isolation function.
For systems requiring automated control, the damper can be equipped with an electric or pneumatic actuator. The actuator allows the opening position to be controlled remotely or integrated into an automatic control system.
Custom Configurations
The Circular Duct Damper can be configured according to different duct diameters, temperatures, pressure conditions, and media characteristics. Custom options may include diameter, material, blade structure, sealing method, connection type, operating mechanism, and actuator configuration.
It can be used for standard ventilation air as well as various industrial gas applications, with the appropriate structure and material selected according to the specific operating environment.
